Team Njord would like to give everyone an update on the horrendous situation we faced last week and the devastation caused.

Unfortunately, due to the biblical rain we all had on Friday night, we have had severe damage caused throughout the site from the flood waters. As anyone from the village might be aware, Southern Water drains were blocked and couldn’t withstand the amount of rainwater, causing drain/sewer water to come back up from the drains, adding to the sheer flow of water and also contaminating said waters.

We of course want to get the works carried out and reopened as soon as possible and have been working towards that, but we have been advised not to touch anything further until the lost adjuster has been to Njord next week to assess. Once this has been carried out, we hope that we can then instruct our contractors who are on standby to get Njord reopened as quickly as physically possible.

We can only apologise for the disruption this has caused.

Due to the ongoing situation and having to be shut we are taking this opportunity to get several things updated and carried out, one being a new website so this will be a holding page until the new website is live, however please keep an eye on socials for updates and of the exciting news which will be following.
